Thursday trendies: Liver powder and Rosemary water
Rosemary Water already topping 440 million views on TikTok.
According to trend analysis, this trend will/can reach a big boom in 6 months.
Rosemary Water already topping 440 million views on TikTok.
So what's the deal?
The liver powder is, as the name suggests, powdered liver. From beef. And because some find eating liver not OK, and it still has health benefits, voila. Liver powder.
The liver powder is high in iron, A vitamin, B vitamins, and Zinc, and also high in protein. It is mostly used after workouts. Getting all the body needs to build those muscles.
Rosemary water is more for the fainted-hearted. It is water infused with fresh or dried rosemary.
Mainly it was promoted for memory performance and brain health.
TikTok blew, however, over its haircare boost. There is some scientific evidence it can help with alopecia. You know - baldness.
Rosemary has had a few studies that confirmed it has beneficial effects. How much of that is "watered down" in rosemary water is hard to tell.
But hey, I find the taste of rosemary quite pleasant. So I am doing my own rosemary water test - DIY. As in, I am doing it myself. Got the water got the rosemary; I just need some time. I will report back.
As for the liver powder, I do have to disappoint you. I prefer the original liver deal once in a while. So eating tablets is perhaps a bit too much for me. I am taking many supplements that already have A, B, and Zinc, so I do not think I need more. But hey, I may just give it a try if I order something on Amazon in the next few weeks and tell you.
Do you have any experience you want to share with me? Drop me an email.
If you are curious about what I look for in the supplements, it's this:
- some spread of vitamins and minerals (I'll be honest, I do not pay special attention to the ingredients. That is past the fact that I do like it has some Iodine inside - I feel it makes me more energetic);
- some Shilajit (some say its Himalayan tar, but it's not. It's actually some herbs that were caught for a very long time in some semi-stone. Scientists say the most essential ingredient of it could be Fulvic acid) powder tablet (I bought one bottle and am testing it, seem to have some - like 5% - effect on the energy levels, I think);
- Saphrone with magnesium in the afternoon (to stabilize the mood);
- occasionally, some other stuff (Dmae, Artichoke, etc.), but I don't want to bore you too much.
I tried mushroom mix tablets for a while but felt it wasn't doing anything.
My wife gives me a talk every 3 months; why are we taking so many supplements. But she is no better than me - she just takes different pills, primarily for hair. But it does seem to be a trend of longevity. Not just for the rich but for the middle class also. And we want to improve the quality of our life also. Making us feel better.
