Take some Beard gummies for that beard
Try some Guduchi if the allergies are hitting you this time of year
There is a trend for Amish honest beard oil. And some beard growth serum. Of course, a beard is a man's prize. But then things got out of hand, and someone made beard gummies, of course.
The supplement market is always on top of things to sell us new products, even repackaged ones. So beard gummies should not surprise me, but it kind of did.
So I went to investigate what was actually in those gummies. I was kind of wild, guessing some B Vitamins and some Zinc. But there was more, Biotin, Vitamin A, E, and Calcium. Although I don't seem to get what these would do with beards, ok.
I'll be honest; I did not find many studies that these supplements would help. It's not that they would hurt, but there just aren't studies to support it.
But perhaps consider taking some Ashwagandha and Saffron to feel better about the results. Because they may not be visible to all observers, make sure you feel good about it.
Allergies
For all who are hit hard by seasonal allergies, studies suggest taking Guduchi. Studies are rare but show a strong improvement in the condition. Guduchi is a part of the Ayurveda medicine spectrum, but it seems to work.
The standard dose for Guduchi is around 300 mg, about 2-3 times per day. A monthly pack would be about 10-20 USD on Amazon. Also, don't be confused; if labeled differently, it also goes under Guduchi, Makabuhay, Amrita, Giloya, Gilo, and Tinospora cordifolia.
And remember the post about sunburns? Where do I mention Astaxanthin? It turns out it semi-helps with inflammations, so try a little yeast as well. When your nose is full, you might as well try a few home remedies to help with that.
And don't be like me; use sun cream whether the wind is blowing or not, your skin will be grateful.
