It's easy to be motivated when your life is at about 8-10 out of 10.
But it's a bit harder to keep going at a 5 out of 10. When you get a cold, your kids are sick. And had a short lousy sleep and was feeling without energy for the whole day.
And don't mention those days that are 2/10.
So what to do? You can hardly move but don't want to break the pattern.
Well, just don't stop. Make it quick and dirty. Even a short burst of work is better than none.
Or make it an "average," and let that be your prize. Because on those days, when life is at a 2/10, an average is an above-average achievement.
So the mindset is to keep going. Get lots of fresh air and sun. Make shorter intervals of work followed by a rest. Use what you can.
If you feel angry, use your anger.
If you feel down, use that daydreaming about strategizing.
If you feel like you need to take a nap. Take a short nap and then do amazing shit.
So whatever you do, you do not stop, and you do not quit. Like those Duracell's rabbits, it keeps on going and going...
Because even one day off can be a disaster and a heavy laggard to beat. It's just mathematics. A zero in a series is harder to beat than a 1, and a 1 is harder to beat than a 5. That is just how things are.
So keep it up; you rule.
You do it your way, the real way, not the phony way. I saw a short where Arnold (The Terminator, of course) was talking about modern bodybuilders not even being able to perform long enough to get off the stage.
Don't be that.
Don't be something you are not.
Be a better version of yourself, someone you can admire. Someone you can look in the eyes in the mirror.
